Michael “Mike” Green
President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Green has been the president and CEO of Viradys Medical Waste Solutions since its inception. In 2012, joined International Waste Technologies, start-up Regulated Medical Waste technology company to explore new technologies for medical waste treatment. Mr. Green exited the company in 2013 and formed Viradys Medical Waste Solutions. Prior to his venture into the medical waste disposal field, Mr. Green spent nearly 30 years in the wireless and telecommunications field in several capacities, including managing the business and government sectors for Motorola C & E and as national operations manager for Contel Cellular, Inc. In 1990, Mr. Green started his own North Carolina-based wireless company under the license of Cellular One. He sold the company to Verizon Wireless in 2001.
In 2001, Mr. Green and his wife founded Carolina PCS Corporation to participate in the new allocated digital cellular industry. They sold the company in 2005.
Mr. Green is a graduate of Faulkner University and resides in Greer, South Carolina with his wife Linda.
